Great Falls National Park is a very interesting and one of the most scenic sites in Virginia State. This is considered as the natural jewel of the state which is ideally situated in close proximity with the nation’s capitol. The major attraction of the park is the Great Falls Waterfall which plunges from the height of seventy-six feet creating a very mesmerizing and exotic natural view. Other attractions of the park include fifteen miles of scenic hiking trails along with horseback trails of five miles along with biking. This is also a great place to go for picnicking and camping offering opportunities for entire family.
