Hot Springs National Park spread on almost 6,000 acres of land is a part of the Ouachita Mountains. It is the oldest park in the national park system featuring thermal park springs that have healing qualities. The park was established in 1921 and is located on a day trip from Little Rock. People from all walks of life get attracted to this place for taking therapeutic baths in order to relieve the pain associated with rheumatism. The park features numerous bathhouses which have been declared as National Historic Landmark. This place also provided other outdoor attractions like camping and hiking.
