Humboldt Redwoods State Park is the planet earth's most marvelous sites to watch and explore the tallest and one of the oldest living trees in the world, the Sequoia Sempervirens. These giant tress grows over 300 feet, live between 400 and 800 years on the average and can live to 2,000 years. The park is California's largest redwood state park which is located along the scenic southern end of Humboldt County. Surrounded by 17,000 acres of old-growth redwood trees, the Humboldt Redwoods State Park has more than 250 camping sites developed for families and hosts numerous activities and events year-round. The park featured attractions and activities are as follows hiking, biking, picnic areas, fishing, swimming, guided tours, horseback trails, nature trails and natural & cultural history exhibits.
