Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park is known as one of the most photographed parks in the country. This natural splendor of rich red hues is a sprawling, sandy preserve that spans the border between Arizona and Utah. Dominated by crimson mesas and surreal sandstone towers of 1,000 feet tall, the area is also known for dramatic, mesmerizing lighting, with the sun illuminating the towers and casting long shadows on the valley floor. There is a visitor centre to start your visit at these world - famous Mitten Buttes and Merrick Butte.
